Starting next week, excavation work will start between the middle school and Lincoln, as well as on the track, to facilitate the construction of a new and safer bus drop-off and pick-up loop. The area will be completely fenced off, prohibiting entry for both students and adults. We encourage families to make alternative arrangements for those who walk home or are picked up in that vicinity. Wishing everyone a wonderful spring break, and we look forward to seeing you on March 30!

Please join us in celebrating World Down Syndrome Awareness Day on Friday, March 20th!

We had a wonderful showing with 7 student teams and 1 staff team competing for first place!
What is BOB? - Students are placed on teams of up to 4 people. Their job is to read 20 books and be prepared to answer questions on them. They learn to take notes, pay attention to details, problem solve and work as a team. Teams were created right around Thanksgiving with team meetings taking place in December, January and early February. Each building then hosts a Battle in which the teams compete against each other to be the TOP DOGS in their building.
Our top three teams were -
FIRST - The BOB Cats - last year's champions (28 points)
Zander Christon, Grace Chen, Keaton Kachel, and Elliot Christensen
SECOND - Angry Owls - (22 points)
Sean Callahan, Sawyer Natvig, Pierce Gomez, and Noah Virgo
THIRD - Book Dragons - (20 points)
Nellie Tincher, Brayleigh Rux, Ana Oezer, and Harper Wojtkunski
Thank you also to the Dream Team who kept the students entertained and who did get the most points at 31!- Rachel McAdams, Shannon Frye, Lisa Kaminski, and Jill Bergman
Our first place team will take the STATE test the week of February 23rd, against 253 other teams in the state!
