Good Morning Lincoln Families!
Teacher Appreciation Week is NEXT WEEK! Our AMAZING teachers do so much for our kids every single day—now it’s our turn to show them just how much we appreciate them!
The Candy Bar & Dip Bar is one of the most anticipated treats of Teacher Appreciation Week, and we want to make it extra special for every staff member.
Right now, we’re still short on several items, and we truly need your help to make this happen. Every contribution—big or small—makes a meaningful difference. Whether it’s a bag of candy, a fun topping, or a delicious dip, your donation helps create a sweet spread that brings smiles, boosts morale, and shows our teachers just how valued they are. Signing up is quick and easy, and you’ll be helping us create a week our teachers won’t forget.

Starting next week, excavation work will start between the middle school and Lincoln, as well as on the track, to facilitate the construction of a new and safer bus drop-off and pick-up loop. The area will be completely fenced off, prohibiting entry for both students and adults. We encourage families to make alternative arrangements for those who walk home or are picked up in that vicinity. Wishing everyone a wonderful spring break, and we look forward to seeing you on March 30!

Please join us in celebrating World Down Syndrome Awareness Day on Friday, March 20th!

We had a wonderful showing with 7 student teams and 1 staff team competing for first place!
What is BOB? - Students are placed on teams of up to 4 people. Their job is to read 20 books and be prepared to answer questions on them. They learn to take notes, pay attention to details, problem solve and work as a team. Teams were created right around Thanksgiving with team meetings taking place in December, January and early February. Each building then hosts a Battle in which the teams compete against each other to be the TOP DOGS in their building.
Our top three teams were -
FIRST - The BOB Cats - last year's champions (28 points)
Zander Christon, Grace Chen, Keaton Kachel, and Elliot Christensen
SECOND - Angry Owls - (22 points)
Sean Callahan, Sawyer Natvig, Pierce Gomez, and Noah Virgo
THIRD - Book Dragons - (20 points)
Nellie Tincher, Brayleigh Rux, Ana Oezer, and Harper Wojtkunski
Thank you also to the Dream Team who kept the students entertained and who did get the most points at 31!- Rachel McAdams, Shannon Frye, Lisa Kaminski, and Jill Bergman
Our first place team will take the STATE test the week of February 23rd, against 253 other teams in the state!

> Parent/Teacher Conferences are from 1:00pm - 7:30pm today, Thursday, February 19th.
> Friday, February 20th, there is NO SCHOOL
>Students who created Read A Thon accounts and received donations should have RAT bucks to spend. The Read A Thon store will close on Monday and will not re-open, so please make sure you spend those bucks before Monday!
