The National Honor Society at Whitewater High School celebrated National Student Leadership Week by hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive on April 16! 49 units of blood were collected which have the potential of saving over 145 lives. They exceeded their goal of collecting 45 units and earned an $800 scholarship from the Red Cross.
NHS would like to thank all of the students, teachers, and community members who participated and made this day a success! They would also like to thank the following businesses for donating pizza for the event: Dominos, Toppers, Rocky Rococo's, and Rosa's Pizza and Culver's for donating coupons for a free pint of ice cream. A great time was had by all!
