On Friday, October 21st, Lincoln students honored Hispanic Nations at their Family Friday assembly. Each classroom chose a different Hispanic nation to represent. Classes learned about their country and together they made a flag of their nation and an informational slide of facts. All classes chose representatives to carry their flags into the packed gymnasium. Students beamed with pride as they watched their class's flag cross the floor. Music classes prepared three songs: Así me gusta a mí, Al Tambor de la Alegria, and Pico y Pala. What a great month Lincoln had honoring the heritage of our Hispanic families.
