WUSD Opens 4K Registration for 2026-27 School Year
WHITEWATER, WI — The Whitewater Unified School District is accepting registrations for its four-year-old kindergarten program for the 2026-27 school year.
The district’s 4K program supports early childhood development through engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction that builds strong social, emotional, and academic skills. Students benefit from a welcoming environment designed to support growth, exploration, and preparation for future learning.
Children are eligible to enroll in 4K if they are four years old on or before September 1, 2026. Registration is completed online through the district website, and families will be asked to provide proof of age, immunization records, and proof of residency.
“Our 4K program provides an important introduction to school and helps students build confidence, curiosity, and essential skills,” said Superintendent Samuel Karns. “We look forward to partnering with families as they begin this exciting step in their child’s educational journey.”
